ThrivePath Approach

At ThrivePath, we provide warm, trauma-informed therapy for children and adults whose lives and relationships have been shaped by trauma, difficult experienced or ongoing stressors. We believe healing is possible at any stage of life, and with the right support, you can build meaningful, connected presents and futures.

We understand that trauma and life’s challenges can affect emotions, relationships, identity, and daily functioning. Therapy is offered at your pace, meeting you where you are — not where you think you “should” be.

What Makes ThrivePath Different

Therapy at ThrivePath centres on the relationship itself. Safety, trust, and human connection are the foundation for lasting change. Clients are supported in a compassionate, non-judgemental space where experiences are respected and validated. Therapy is a partnership, we walk alongside you as you explore, process, and grow, rather than directing or rushing your journey.

Evidence-Based, Professional Practice

At ThrivePath, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Our clinicians draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches within each session, carefully tailored to the client’s identified clinical needs, goals, and stage of therapy. Interventions are selected and adapted collaboratively, ensuring treatment remains responsive, effective, and grounded in best practice. This flexible, individualised approach allows us to address both mental health concerns and situational challenges while supporting meaningful and sustainable change.

We bring extensive experience working with complex trauma, recognising how past experiences shape emotions, relationships, sense of self, and overall wellbeing.

Our approach also considers the broader systems and life circumstances that influence each person, including family, community, and culture. By holding both trauma and context together, we create a space where clients feel fully seen, understood, and supported within the story of their lives.

Trauma-Informed Clinical Expertise

ThrivePath is founded by Adriana Mendoza, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with lived experience of migration and life as part of a minority group. Cultural awareness is central to every session. By honouring your identity, experiences, and systemic influences, we create a space where clients feel genuinely understood and supported in all aspects of who they are.

Migration and cultural context are part of your story, but they do not define you. These experiences are held gently and respectfully in therapy, always at your pace and guided by what feels right for you. Your unique life story is valued, helping us understand how trauma has been experienced and processed, so you can feel fully supported across your journey.
